Patiently waiting for the right conditions

Conover Wisconsin, there are a couple of chilly days in the forecast but from now until the end of the year, most of the days will be mild. Some light snow might move through from time-to-time, but nothing significant is likely.

Today: Partly cloudy through early afternoon, then increasing clouds high 28, low 25.

Thursday: The clouds will remain into tomorrow as a low pressure system moves in from the west. This storm will produce some rain in the area on Thursday morning. The roads should not be too slippery as high temps tomorrow morning will reach the mid to upper 30s. The roads could become more slippery in the evening on Thursday as the temperatures drop below freezing and a few light snow showers move through. There will not be a lot of accumulation except in the far north where an inch or two is possible. Highs of 36 and low of 6 degrees.

Friday will be a colder day with a bit of sun in the morning and then increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs will only reach the teens. A  front moving through Friday evening will generate a chance of snow with the possibilities of 1 to 3 inches.

Highs on Saturday will be in the 20s with skies becoming partly cloudy later in the day. A gusty northwest wind will develop and cause temperatures to plummet. Another chance for snow of a dusting to an inch. Lows Saturday night will get down to around 3 degrees.

On Sunday, high temps will only reach the 10 to 15 range. It will be a cold day, but there will be a lot of sunshine.

Next week looks quite mild with highs in the mid to upper 20s on Monday and in the low to mid 30s on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Keep doing your snow dance
